Trisha Livingston, M.C., R.C.C.
Ms. Livingston joined the DBT Centre of Vancouver in September of 2011. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of British Columbia and received her Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University. Her research focused on the benefits of teaching mindfulness skills to adolescents with learning disabilities, as well as to their families. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. Trisha previously worked with at-risk youth, providing Assertive Outreach Therapy and has extensive experience with individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Trisha has received training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). She enjoys entertaining, gardening, and spending time with her husband and five children.
