Andrew Spice, M.A.
Mr. Spice joined the DBT Centre of Vancouver in September of 2010. He received his B.A. (Hons.) from the University of Manitoba in 2007 and his M.A. from Simon Fraser University in 2010. He is currently completing his doctoral degree at Simon Fraser University under the supervision of Dr. Jodi Viljoen. Mr. Spice’s research focuses on adolescents’ experiences of guilt and shame in the justice system. He has received grants and scholarships from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the American Psychology-Law Society to support his research in this area. Clinically, Mr. Spice has worked with adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, conduct disorder, and chronic pain.
